ONE TOUGH COOKIE – FROM DISNEY TO LUCY BACK TO DISNEY!

Spooky Buddies is leaping off the shelves this year and Santa Pups seems to be sure to follow in it’s footsteps as Christmas movies are usually even more successful than Halloween films. Bill plays Mr. Holman, the town’s Christmas cookie philanthropist. Look for this soon-to-be-classic on the shelves next holiday season.

But Chott hasn’t had any lag time.  Before leaving for Fernie (a small Alpine village outside of Vancouver) he played Fred Mertz in the opening run of I Love Lucy Live on Stage at the Greenway Court Theater in LA. After completing his shoot in Fernie, he’ll be returning from October 30 thru December 30th in the musical tribute to I Love Lucy.

But if you can’t wait to see him live as Fred, or you can’t wait ’till next Christmas, then look for him in a scene with Johnny Depp in the film The rum Diary, which opens October 25th.

Improvisational Theatre returns as the Creative Comebacks Go Green!
this is right up Bill Chott’s alley. It could be a business opportunity or at least a good PR to promote his improv endeavors if he would play a part in what they are doing. The last event ended up as a big article in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
    please forward this to Bill.

  37. Michael Stephens

    Hi Bill,
Just wanted to tell you that you are a true inspiration to me. From one Ritenour alum (1996) to another, I have a new found belief that anything can happen. I’m a 34 y/o freshman Theater performance/creative writing major at SIUE and I was questioning that path until I came across information about you and your improv school. I plan on attending when I can get the extra money to take your intro class. I am not awestruck by many people, but your path in life along with your blessings really inspire me to continue shooting for the stars. I cannot wait to study with you.

    Michael Stephens

  38. Michael,

You’re making me blush. Email info@theimprovtrick.com if you’d like to do an internship. You’ll get classes in exchange for work you do to help Improv Trick.

  39. Joseph

    Dear Bill,
As an aspiring comedian/writer at the young age of 20, I would like to say you are a huge inspiration to me. Living in Alabama there isn’t much here to do with comedy in my area. So I am trying to make the best of it as I can. Any pointers would be appreciative. It would make it all the better getting advice from such an amazing comedian like you.I know where there is a will there is a way. Just need to find that way!

    Thank You,
Joe King (that is really my name I’m not joking)

  40. Dear Joe,

You’ve got a great start with a name like that! :)
I wish you all the best of luck and I’m sorry it’s taken soooo long to respond. I hope you’re making your own comedy opportunites, like starting an open mic night or your own improv team. If you need any suggestions about how to do that, let me know.

    Sincerely,
    Bill
